Levels

Beginners- New beginners, experienced beginners and advanced beginners.

 

Mixed Levels- All levels except new beginners.

 

Intermediate- practicing head balance and shoulder balance.

 

Advanced- practicing all arm balances, head balance & shoulder balance 7-10 minutes, unsupported backbends, should know the sanskrit names of poses.

 

Fees:

 

7weeks session is $112 once per week, twice per week is $196.00 must pay for full session.

8 weeks session is $128 once per week (that's $16 per class) must pay for full session.

Twice per week for 8 week session is $224 (that's $14 per class) must pay for full session.

10 week session is $160 once per week, must pay for full session.

Twice per week for 10 week session is $280, must pay for full session.

 

10 Class Pass $180 (valid for 16 weeks)

Make up classes are encouraged within the same session. Please don't ask to carry your make up classes over to the next session.

 

Class size is limited to 16 people, generally speaking 12 is usual. Lot's of time for individual attention.

Private Yoga Classes

Receipts issued to claim against your Naturopathy coverage for all private classes. Naturopathic coverage is usually 70-100%, check your policy.

 

Inversions Series In this 15 week series we will focus on the inversions(upside down poses) leading up to Salamba Sirsasana the Head Stand Pose.To learn the inverted postures one has to lessen the fear complex of being upside down gradually with the proper preparation. The standing asanas and twists prepare the musculo-skeletal body for the inversions while the standing and sitting forward extensions prepare one physically as well as mentally so that adverse effects can be avoided. In this 15 part series we will be focusing on the poses which prepare and aid the body, mind and emotions for the upside down asanas as well as practicing the viparita sthiti postures. Developing a firm foundation is the essence of all postures. We will become steady in Supported Sethu Bandha Sarvangasana (supported bridge), Viparita Karani (against the flow of the lake), Ardha Halasana (half plow), Paripoorna Halasana(full plow), Salamba Sarvangasana (shoulder stand) and approach Salamba Sirsasana (head stand). This course is suitable for those with at least 6 months regular yoga practice.

The fees will be prorated if you're joining the session late.

 

Refund Policy/Cancellation Policy

There is no refund for general classes.

For 3 hour workshops: If you cancel 1 week prior to the day of the workshop you will receive a full refund. If you cancel less than 1 week prior to the workshop you will receive a credit equal to the amount you paid towards general classes at planetyoga.ca, you will not receive a credit towards the next workshop. If you cancel the day before the workshop or day of the workshop you will not receive any refund or credit.

For weekend long workshops: If you cancel 2 weeks or more before the workshop commences you will receive a refund equal to 75% of the amount you paid. If you cancel less than 2 weeks before the workshop commences but more than 1 week before the workshop commences you will receive a refund equal to 50% of what you paid.
