In this workshop, you will be guided through a series of classical and modified asanas that lend themselves particularly well to the core of the body. What is the core? The spine, spinal muscles, lower back, sacrum, gluteus, pelvic floor, abdominal organs and abdominal muscles and the diaphragm. The asanas will strengthen, extend, compress and decompress. The benefits will be a feeling of effortlessly standing erect, exhilaration, improved digestion and clarity of mind.
The poses and sequence will be drawn from the vast knowledge & expertise of B.K.S. Iyengar and presented by certified Iyengar yoga teacher Tim Ruddy.
This workshop is open to level 2 and above. This workshop is not suitable for raw beginners or during the menstrual cycle.
