Even if you think this pose is not attainable it’s the journey towards it. It’s the preparation of the bodymind to accommodate the pose. How close will you get to the finished pose? It doesn’t matter. Have fun trying and reap the benefits.

The benefits of the different stages of the pose (Kurmasana 1 & 2, Supta Kurmasana) are extensible. The mind becomes calm and composed and fear and anger are diminished. The spine becomes toned, shoulders soothed, abdominal organs activated, promotes good health, and keeps one energetic. It soothes the nerves and refreshes the mind.
