Happy hormones namely serotonin and dopamine are produced both in the brain and gut. The pituitary gland in the brain controls the pineal gland and hypothalamus (also in the brain) which are responsible for the production and release of happy hormones.

Practicing inversions and backbends where the head is lower than the heart gives a good healthy supply of fresh blood to the brain increasing the benevolent functioning of these glands. The backbends give a good stretch to the abdominal region benefiting the digestive system and allowing for healthy production of these same hormones in the gut.

This workshop could leave you feeling very HAPPY!

Suitable for Iyengar Yoga practitioners of 2 years or more. Cannot be on the menstrual cycle.

Must show proof of vaccination for In-Person!
