Part 2 The Knee. February 25, 10:00-12:00 $40 In-person, $35 Zoom.

The knees perform weight-bearing functions as well as flexion movements. The femur and tibia roll and glide on each other during flexion and extension. The patella (knee cap) sits on a groove on the meniscus disc. Some movements we make we do too fast for the knee joint to keep up like running and dancing. This can cause misalignments in the joint and in some cases injuries. We will work intelligently with straight leg poses for proper alignment then bent leg poses carefully adjusting the surrounding muscles and ligaments. With this deeper understanding of the knee joint, we can compassionately approach OUR padmasana without fear or injury. 

Part 3 March Date to be announced $40. Padmasana. Combining some of the work from part 1 & 2 and new stuff, learn to place your legs in padmasana with love.

Part 1 Love Your Hips can now be rented for a two-week period $30.

The three parts are meant to go together but you are welcome to take only the parts that appeal to you. However, the Padmasana Workshop will go so well with the other two parts.
